What a joy to listen to the Still Waters writers as they shared their similes describing their past, present, and future selves! I applaud the important groundwork that has to happen to create such a brave space. That Saturday morning, the language learners listened, observed, thought, created, and shared. These valuable skills help build emotional intelligence, and richer, more confident lives. We all need a place to belong and Still Waters provides—with a caring compassionate writing community. Bravo!
